AI platforms base their answers on training data and online information sources. This means that how political information is published online can influence how AI interprets it. Parties can improve their visibility and interpretation by publishing political positions more clearly and better structured online. On their own and secondary sources.
Data Collection
The data in this overview was collected by repeatedly asking a standardized set of questions to AI platforms. In total, 14.400 answers were given by eight AI systems: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, DeepSeek, Claude, Grok and Mistral. Each individual prompt was sent to an AI platform with a new account without user history. The prompts were repeatedly tracked over multiple days to obtain a representative sample. The collected answers are stored as snapshots and reflect what the respective AI responded at that specific moment.
